William Charles Young, 83, of Warren, Texas, passed away on August 24, 2023, in Beaumont, Texas.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. A Graveside service will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetary in Beaumont, Texas at 3:30pm.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday, August 28, 2023, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

Born in Brownsville, Texas, on December 10, 1939, he was the son of Marion Harvey Young and Lydia Mae Young. William had a love for reading books and watching westerns, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family. William was truly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Young; his parents, Marion and Lydia Young; his daughter, Dianna Lynn Savoy; his grandson, William Ray Young; and his sister, Marilyn Sterling

He is survived by his sons, William Wayne Young and Charles Richard Young and his wife, LaDonna; his daughter, Lydia Kay Phillips; his 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; his siblings, Gloria Wilson, Jeanette Lyons, Marie Davis, and W.S. Young; and numerous other loving family and friends
