Adeline Emery Rae Johnson

June 16, 2022 — February 9, 2026

Vidor, Texas

Adeline Emery Rae Johnson, age 3, passed away on February 9, 2026, surrounded by the love that defined her beautiful life. She was born on June 16, 2022, and in her short time here, Adeline touched hearts across the world with her strength, spirit, and undeniable light.

Adeline was a little girl full of comfort, sweetness, and personality. She found her greatest happiness in the simplest and most loving moments. She adored having her head being rubbed and would yell if we stopped, being held close, and sharing quiet, cozy time with her mommy. One of her favorite daily activities was watching her ceiling projector and listening to her sister run rampant around the house after school.

She had a playful and curious spirit. Adeline loved listening to children laugh and play and would often join in by hollering back, sharing in their joy. She enjoyed listening to crime documentaries, and episodes of My 600-Pound Life, Supernatural, and Smallville, bringing her comfort and entertainment.

Adeline had a sweet tooth and especially loved sucking on watermelon, enjoying suckers, and celebrating with sweets during holidays. She loved water and found so much peace and happiness in bath time, often falling asleep in the warm comfort of the water or expressing her feelings loudly when it was time to get out. While she enjoyed being outdoors, she preferred short visits before returning to the comfort of dim lighting and closeness with her loved ones.

Above all, Adeline was known as the strongest fighter. Her resilience and courage inspired people not only in her family and community but across the world. She showed those around her the true meaning of strength, love, and perseverance.

Adeline is deeply loved and will forever be cherished by her parents and her loving sister, Tahlia, who adored her dearly. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, strength, and inspiration that will live on in all who were touched by her life.

Though her time here was far too short, Adeline’s impact will be everlasting. She will be remembered for her sweetness, her bravery, and the profound love she gave and received every single day.

Immediate family, mom dad and Tahlia, grandparents Wendy, Lena, Kevin, Daniel, John and Theresa, aunts Caitlin, Taylor, Bella and Jada, uncle Seth and wife Gillian and her wonderful nurses who took care of her and became family, Annuncia and Cayce. She’s survived by many extended family members and friends who loved her so much.
