Ellen dedicated many years to customer service and especially enjoyed her time as a Ticket Agent for Metro Airline, where her warm demeanor surely brightened the days of many travelers. Beyond her professional life, Ellen was an avid reader, always finding comfort and adventure within the pages of a book. Her love for music and dancing was infectious, especially when it came to Elvis Presley, a passion that led her on several cherished trips to Graceland. Ellen was truly a "people person," who famously never met a stranger. Her positive outlook was a beacon, as she could always find joy in everything. A strong Christian woman, Ellen found immense solace and strength in reading her Bible daily. To her beloved grandchildren, she was simply "Nana," a title she wore with immense pride and affection. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and delicious aromas, and her family lovingly crowned her "The Gumbo Queen" for her culinary talents. She found particular delight in listening to "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers and transformed her home into a wonderland each year with her elaborate Christmas decorating. Ellen touched countless hearts with her radiant spirit.

Ellen's memory will be forever cherished by her loving husband, John Sartin; her sons, Mark Clark, Clint Clark, and Eric Sartin; and her daughter, Analeah Clark and spouse Kimberly Clark. She leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Ethan Clark, Grant Clark, and Leah Clark, who will miss their Nana dearly. She is also survived by her siblings, Virginia Mires, Lewis Morris and his wife Margaret, and Ernie Morris and his wife Sandy, along with numerous other loving family members and friends who were blessed to know her.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, John Shepherd, Florence Walker, and stepfather Lewis Morris, and her beloved grandmother, Flora Bell "Granny" Crim.

Ellen had verve, spirit, beauty, and wit. These were an inheritance from Aunt Florence. Her energy was palpable anywhere and anytime. I have great memories of her teasing around with our grandmother, Florabelle, who loved her deeply. I can imagine a reunion in heaven. May the Lord bring perfect consolation to all who are grieving.

Ann, Ernie and Louis Wayne, I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. My blessed sister, Robin Latimer, means everything to me so I know how much this loss must be for you all. I also pray for her children, husband and grandchildren. She comes from great stock - her mother Florence and grandmother were precious to us all. God bless you as you navigate life without your beautiful Ellen. She rests in peace joyfully in the arms of her beloved Savior now.
