Walline Wynona Permenter, 86, of Mauriceville, passed away on April 29, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Sister Ruth Burch.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m., Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Walline was born in Gist, Texas, on September 25, 1935, she was the daughter of Walter and Willie Beatrice Clark. She was a dispatcher for the Mauriceville Fire Department for forty years. Walline was a fan of Leave it to Beaver and old westerns on tv, but loved to sit outside and enjoy nature. She raised her children and grandchildren, and was famous for her koolaid. Walline loved her family more than anything and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, T.J. Permenter; sons, Tommy Permenter, Monte Permenter, Mark Permenter; siblings, Freda Bland, and Walter Lewis Clark.
She is survived by her children, Mickey Permenter and wife Jeannie of Gist, Wynona Johnson and husband Bruce of Mauriceville, Randy Permenter of Mauriceville; honorary daughter-in-law, Eve Permenter; grandchildren, Tommy “Bubba” Permenter and wife Debbie, Crystal Frederick and husband Jay, Bucky Johnson, Dawn Martinez, Lisa Johnson, Jimmy Lemaire and wife Mindy; great-grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Lilly Johnson, Adrien Johnson, Shelbea Permenter, Caitlyn Permenter, Garrett Johnson, Ty Permenter, Mason Paul, Riley Permenter, Laura Lemaire, and Ashlee Lemaire; siblings, Malcolm Clark and wife Johnece, Bonnie Bean; as well as many other loving family and friends.

So sorry to hear about your mom. Got to know most of the family since 1990. Remember going to work and handing over dispatching to her a many of morning. I think she knew every bend in the road, color of house and every tree in Mauriceville. She never got any one lost! She was a very sweet lady. Prayers for all the family.

Mickey and Jeannie sorry to hear about your Mom she was a sweet lady,and when she would answer the Fire phone she would say Mauricevlle Volunteer Fire Department #1 back in the old days of the Fire Dept you only had 5 Fire Phones and Walline was # 1.. I have gotten to know the Permenters for 40 plus years,my prayers are with you Mickey.
