Vickie Sue Doucet

Vickie Doucet, born April 2, 1956, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, in Beaumont, TX.

Vickie was known for her generous and loving spirit. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often spending her time engrossed in word searches or "piddling around" with various projects. Her love for community shone through her regular attendance at church bingo, and she cherished watching her "stories." To her beloved grandchildren, she was affectionately known as "Grandma Vickie."

She is survived by her children, Rachel Bryan and husband, David, and David Doucet Jr. and wife, Amy; her grandchildren, Katelyn Hight and husband, Josh, William Messick, Stella Doucet, and Izabella Bryan; her great-grandchildren, Halstyn Hight, and Kenneth Hight; her siblings, Valerie Keneson and husband, Brad, and Ralph Buker and wife, Geneva; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo “Renny” and Goldie Louise Buker.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
