Tammy Baer

Tammy Baer, 60, of Orange, passed away on November 30, 2021, in Beaumont.

Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in San Angelo, Texas, on June 7, 1961, she was the daughter of Clifford Woodruff and Hazel (Gibson) Collins. Tammy loved hard and was loved by all who knew her. She had a heart of gold and dedicated her life to helping those around her. In her younger years, Tammy worked as a hairdresser, and worked closely with the American Legion. She volunteered with special needs children and was a huge advocate for their inclusion and acceptance. Tammy loved traveling with her husband and spending cherished time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Hazel Collins.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Baer; children, Leland Curtis Smith and wife Cydnie, Channin Dorsey and partner Tiara, and Jeremy Dorsey, all of Longview; grandchildren, Kayla Smith and Bailey Smith; sisters, Diane Swanson and husband Rocky of Gilmer and Echo Anderson and husband Jeff of Cedar Springs, Utah; brothers-in-law, John Baer and Thomas Edwards; sisters-in-law, Lydia Trahan and Sonia Davis; and numerous loving friends.

When we were kids Tammy had started smoking.....well we were all going to the pool and she made (yes she made me ) hold a cigarette in my hand so i looked cool like the others........if i didnt she would have beat me up......yes she was a bully of a cousin...... but we have the best times........lots of laughs and memories
