Sybil Mae "Bones" Jeanise
Sybil Mae “Bones” Jeanise, 74, of Orange, passed away on March 17, 2017, in Beaumont.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Deweyville. Officiating will be Brother Brad Bickham.

Visitation will precede the service, starting at 12:00 p.m.

Born in Leesville, Louisiana, on April 16, 1942, she was the daughter of Finis Beason and Frances (Allen) Beason. Sybil was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Jeanise; brother, Roger Beason; children, Judith Breaux, Darrell Jeanise, and Deborah Odom; granddaughter, Lenann Jeanise; grandson, Michael Breaux, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Mary Ruth Jeanise, and Cherokee Rain Jeanise.

She is survived by her children, Michelle Ratcliff and husband, Jim, Roger Jeanise and wife, Mary, and Janet Burch and husband David, Sr.; grandchildren, Bonnie Jeanise, Tiffany Jeanise, Christal Jeanise, Stephen Jeanise, Misty Odom Welch, Bobby Joe Jeanise, Mikeal Abshire, Felicia Jeanise, Jennifer Aguilar, Desiree Jeanise, Patrick Bryant, Justin Bryant, James Bryant, Sammi Bahnsen, Michael Lute, Holly Lute, David Burch, Jr., Paul H. Burch, Sr., and Joseph Burch, Sr.; 48 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Alvie Beason, Dewayne Beason, Shirley Kitchen, Rebecca Gohr, and Jeanette Beason.

Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
