Shane Austin Cooper, 39, of Orange, passed away on March 24, 2016, in Orange.
Funeral services will be 4:00p.m., Tuesday, March 29, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Cremation will follow at Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.
Visitation will be at 3:00p.m., Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on August 29, 1976, he was the son of Trent Austin Cooper and Vickie Lanell Cooper (Richard). He enjoyed spending time fishing at the lake and working on cars. He loved playing with his dog Ryley.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna Cooper; his parents, Trent and Vickie Cooper; his father and mother-in-law, Harvill and Pam Strohm; his grandfather, Albert Rucka; his children, Trent Austin Cooper II and Brooklyn Cooper; his stepchildren, Chase Herndon and Alyssa Herndon; uncles and aunts, Kel and Margaret Richard, Tracy and Paul Richardson; his cousins, Derek and Maddison Richard, Cicilye and Austin Williams; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.
Donations can be made to American Diabetes Association in honor of his son, Trent Austin Cooper II at P.O Box 11454 Alexandria, VA 22312

Trent & Vickie, I know that there are no words known to man that will ease your pain and sorrow. My heart truly cries for all of ya'll. Parents are just not supposed to have to bury their children. Shane was always a good kid and I enjoyed very much coaching him on the Raiders soccer team. Trent , Vickie, and Lil Trent, I am at a loss for words. My heart is hurting for you and your family right now. I am so sorry for your loss.
