Sean Anthony Cole (“Raknoth”)

Sean Anthony Cole, affectionately known to many online as “Raknoth,” passed away at the age of 24.

Born and raised in Orange, Texas, Sean lived a life marked by creativity, faith, kindness, and an unforgettable sense of humor. Though naturally introverted in everyday life, he became a vibrant and outgoing presence within his online communities, where he formed lasting friendships with people from all over the world. Whether he was sharing stories, offering encouragement, making others laugh, or playfully pushing a few buttons along the way, Sean had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome and valued.

Sean had a deep love for fantasy, video games, art, and storytelling. He was an exceptionally talented artist whose imagination seemed limitless. His creativity touched countless lives, and his stories and artwork reflected the bright, hopeful way he viewed the world.

Above all, Sean’s faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life. A devoted Christian, Sean found joy in sharing his faith through the hobbies he loved. He was an active member of a Christian gaming community on Discord, where he encouraged others, built meaningful friendships, and openly lived out his beliefs. His compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Jake and Mary Berlinger (Daddad and Nana), Great Grandparents Snookie and Betty Brashear (Granddaddy and Grandmother), Great Grandparents Donald and Gail Reasonover (Pepaw and Memaw), Grandmother Debra Reasonover (Nana), Grandparents Ron and Vicki Cole (Pawpaw and Mawmaw)

Sean is survived by his father, Ron Cole; his mother, Melissa Cole; his sister, Annie Brashear, her husband, and their two children; his sister, Lorayne Cole, her husband, and their child; his brother, Kristian Morgan; his uncle, Darren Cole; his aunt, Jennifer Branch and her husband, Dennis Branch; his grandparents, Johnny and Connie Brashear; and his cousins, Victoria Cole, Kenneth Aery, and Kamryn Aery, and so many more people that loved him dearly.

Sean was known by many people in many different ways—son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, artist, storyteller, gamer, and mentor. No matter how someone knew him, they were met with the same warmth, humor, and genuine heart that made him so unforgettable.

Though his time with us was far too short, Sean leaves behind a legacy of faith, creativity, laughter, and love. His light lives on in the countless lives he touched, the friendships he built, and the hope he shared so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A celebration of life will be planned at a later time.
