Sandra “Sandy” Haglund, 68, of Orange, Texas passed away on May 11, 2015, at Pinehurt Nursing and Rehabilitation in Orange.

Memorial services will be at 2:00pm, Monday, June 8, 2015, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Jay Thomas of McArthur Heights Baptist Church. Entombment of cremated remains will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens following the service.

Visitation will be preceding the service from 12:00pm-2:00pm.

Born in Marshall, Texas, on July 19, 1946, She was the daughter of Robert Berliew, Sr. and Georgia Bilbo. Sandy was a retired police dispatcher who worked at several of the golden triangle police departments. Prior to her illness she resided at Optimist Village where she made many close friends. She was also a member of McArthur Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Paul Lanerie.

Sandy is survived by her brother, Bobby Berliew and wife Debbie, of Orange; sister, Barbara Kaye Berliew, of Lufkin; her daughter, Robyn Heitkamp and husband Mark, of Floresville, Texas; her sons, Roger Haglund, and wife Lana, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and Rob Haglund and wife Vicki, of Pittsburg, PA; 7 grandchildren; and 8 step-grandchildren.
