Obituary
Sandra Jean Broussard, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Port Arthur, Texas. She was born on June 27, 1949, in Orange, Texas.
A rosary will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, with the service to follow after. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will begin prior to the rosary at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Sandra found joy in the simple pleasures of life, loving to watch her favorite shows, listen to music, and engage in puzzles. Sandra was renowned for her culinary talents, especially her delicious Gumbo, which brought warmth and comfort to many. Her outgoing spirit meant she loved everyone and could strike up a conversation with anyone, leaving a lasting impression of kindness and genuine affection. Her loving spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Myrtle Broussard, and her sister, Jan Ross.
She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Fay Broussard McCrocklin and her husband Mack Haddock; her brother, Pat Broussard and his wife Jonnie; her nieces and nephews, Patrick Broussard, Jr. and his wife Brandi, Lisa Fisher and her husband Josh, Wesley Ross and his wife Samantha, and Jennifer Bean. Sandra also leaves behind numerous great nieces and nephews, numerous great-great nieces and nephews, and many other loving family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
