Rest In Peace Ronnie. I have so many wonderful childhood memories with everybody in the camp. You treated Diane like Rodney treated me. We both survived the torture. At the same time, they protected us from everybody else. I know you are now singing with the angels and are embraced with your family that went before you. I love you my friend. Until we meet on the other side.

Condolences to Ronnie’s family and friends. Ronnie was a good ole country boy. Always ready with his helping hand for anyone that needed it. My brother, Keith, and him have been friend since their childhood. They crawled back and forth under the Bob wired fence that separated the Mobil Camp and the Romero home. Always playing ball and occasionally getting In Trouble. The Murphy and Ruby Romero kids and the McComIc kids have remained friends for a very long time. We all have many fond memories. Ronnie will be missed, just as Jerry and Louanna are. Our thoughts and prayers are with Judy and Diane, his sons, his cousins and so many others. I believe his soul is in heaven now. He is free from all pain, with a heavenly body suit and with our Lord and Savior and visiting with his family and friends who are also in heaven. RIP my friend Until we meet again.

Ronnie there will never be another one like you. You will be missed by many, your family for sure but you were always a huge part of my family. You were the best Godfather we ever picked, you loved your Godchild Corey so much. You loved all my kids like your own thanks for that. If I would have known 2 weeks ago would be the last time we’d see each other I would have stayed longer visiting, you. I was honored to have sponsored you into our Catholic faith and you were so proud to become Catholic, especially for your boys. You loved God so much & knew where to go during rough times. Ronnie was such a giver he always helped us, he was always helping everyone. The soldiers, military, everyone who needed he was always there for them. He would tell me all the time “it’s better to give then receive” and he would giggle. I sure will miss your laughter. My friend you will forever be in my heart & prayers. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.

Ronnie, was our Best Man in our wedding a dear friend. He was Keiths best man since they were little boys.I have heard childhood stories for 45 years from Ronnie and Keith, They had some fun. He was just so much fun to be around, a blessing for sure. He will be missed. This is one story, Right before the wedding, Ronnie ask Keith you want to run off to California? Keith said NO Ronda has a daddy and a brother they will come looking for me, told Ronnie you will be back home in a week to eat your Moma's rice n gravy, and I'd be stuck in California. So they both decided to get married.
