Robert Lee Spears
Robert Lee Spears, 55, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2019, in Nederland, Texas.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on January 18, 1964, he was the son of Bennie Spears and Mildred Marie (Simon) Spears. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army and went on to love his job as a Truck Driver for Franks Trucking. He loved to spend his youth hunting, riding dirt bikes, and playing baseball. Robert had a great personality and loved to have fun and make his friends laugh. He was an amazing cook who loved to cook for his friends and family. He was a wonderful father and grandfather who loved his family dearly. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Spears.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Mildred Spears and step-father, Delbert LeJune; daughter, Tiffany Spears, of Nederland; grandchildren, Braylee Miller, Kimrylee Miller, and Matthew Ballance; siblings, Brenda Spears Hamilton and husband Clay, of Orange, and Kathy Spears Meekins and husband Mitchell, of Baytown; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving friends and family.
