Ricky Dan Haley, a man whose life was a vibrant adventure, passed away on May 8, 2026, in Groves, TX. Born on March 26, 1955, in Orange, Texas, Ricky brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
A dedicated pipefitter at Local 195, Ricky was known for his hard work and camaraderie. Beyond his profession, he was a true enthusiast of life's simple pleasures. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he cheered with passion. He admired the legendary John Wayne and was a devoted Rock-N-Roll fan, always ready for a good tune. Many will fondly remember him enjoying a Natty Lite Beer, especially during the cherished "Ricky Wednesdays," a tradition where everyone gathered to share good times and laughter. Ricky truly loved being around people and having a good time; with him, life was always an adventure.
Ricky's lively spirit lives on through his beloved daughters, Rachel Stone and her husband Daniel, and Danyielle Haley. He is also survived by Chris Haley and his wife Misty, and Donnie Haley. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Chase Brumley, Justin Stone, Bree Bagley, Rayce Bagley, Kane Ramirez, Meaira Gobert, and Kaiden Haley. He leaves behind his sister, Teri Duos and her husband John; and his brothers, Dean Haley and his wife Peggy, and Don Haley and his wife Donna. Ricky will be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Walline Haley, and his brother, David Haley.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Turner Cemetery in Bridge City.
Visitation will begin prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rayce Bagley, Justin Stone, Nickolas Haley, Ray Haley, Devin Martin, Jason Haley, and Corey Head.
