Ricky was one of my first journeyman 19 years ago. He was very smart very hardheaded. Very funny. But a great teacher. He taught me how to lay out anyways a great friend. I used to take my pitbull to his trailer off of 71 and we’re just hanging out there and watch football games. I’m a puddle of tears just saying all this because I can’t believe he’s gone. He was such a big part of my life and such a big influence. He never treated me like a dumb ass girl that I didn’t know what the fuck I was doing. I’m sorry about cussing. I just cut a lot. I just talked to him on his birthday. I had no idea. He passed away until my ex business agent called me and told me because he knew that Ricky Haley was such a big part of my life and career. I’m just glad he’s not in pain anymore. I could go on and on about stories. I had to laugh for a minute because all the memories that keep coming back dammit

Ricky was the best fitter I ever had. We worked many jobs together in a short amount of time. His vast knowledge and experience is what made me look good on the job. Fits and layout were always so precise and he made it look easy. I appreciate the time he spent making me a better craftsman while having a little fun along the way. He will be greatly missed!!! Condolences to his family.
