Richard K. Bagley, 72, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 14, 2020, in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on May 4, 1947, he was the son of Jewel Marvin Bagley and Hazel Patricia (Guidry) Bagley. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army and went on to spend many years working as a butcher for Walmart before retiring. He was a true outdoorsman and loved fishing, camping, and woodworking. Richard loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn Bagley; parents, Jewel Bagley and Hazel Wyatt and husband Bob; and his brother, Charles Randall Bagley.

Richard is survived by his step-mother, Bertha Bagley, of Lafayette, LA; children, Melissa Savoie, of Orange, Bryan Bagley and wife Helen, of Orange, Melonie Kelly and husband Todd, of McKinney, and Richard Bagley, Jr., of Groves; grandchildren, John Savoie, Jr., Jarrett Savoie, Tiffanie Zellmer, Bree Bagley, Rayce Bagley, Heaven Brickley, Kaden Bagley, Wyatt Kelly, Logan Kelly, and Liam Kelly; great-grandchild, Audriana Zellmer; and his siblings, Ray Bagley and wife Mary, of Orange, Pat Wyatt and wife Jeanette, of Orange, and Donna Kovack and husband Skip, of Lafatette, LA; along with numerous other loving family and friends.

Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
