When I read of Phyllis passing - my heart was sad..... Then the wonderful memories I have of her came pouring in - an my heart was full. She was a special gal. As a teenager visiting the Taylor home on Longhorn, I was always amazed at her openness and ability to love us all. She would watch us make up silly dances to the theme from "shaft" and always love on you before you walked out the door. She was beautiful and I always thought how wonderful it must have been to have her for a mom. Thank you Ms. Phyllis for your smile, your example, .... For you!!! Much love- Lil bit.

I've had memories running through my head these days...from the first time we met, when Rick took me down to Bridge City and Orange, and I looked at all those BIG guys and realized they were her SONS!..She was so proud of all of her family...and loved all of you so very much. Through the good times and the hard times, that love has held true...we are all blessed to have had her in our lives. Our hearts are with you. Bridget, Heather & Tomi & Aubrey, and Luke

This smile, this happiness is what I will always remember. We have had made such wonderful memories over the years whether it was holiday gatherings, camping trips or just random visits and conversations. Those are the memories I will hold on to, those are the things I will keep closest to my heart. You had a way to make even the saddest of people smile. We love you Maw Maw, may you rest in peace and you share an eternal life up there with Judy and your brothers.
