I was blessed to know Roger and Peggy Russell. I was friends with three of their children and then welcomed into the home of Roger and Peggy. I had dinner at their home more than once and loved dipping in their backyard pool. Peggy had a special way of making you feel welcome and just "took" me in like family. I was invited to come to FBC Pt. Arthur to see them perform in "The Living Christmas Tree," and got to be a regular guest at their multi-family Christmas Party. Peggy's asparagus sandwiches were wonderful and she always made sure I had enough to really enjoy. However, most of all, it was never a question of their service to God and their love and adoration of our Savior, Jesus Christ. They reared their children to serve Him and set the example in their Christian home. I know where Peggy is today and think of her worshipping at the feet of Jesus. Only imagine.....Peggy has seen Him face to face! I send my greatest love to the Russell family and pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to minister to you all through these trying days ahead. Because of Jesus, Linda Thomas
