Peggy June Cole, 84, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 12, 2023, in Beaumont, Texas.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Bean Cemetery in Kirbyville, Texas.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Peggy was born in Dallas, Georgia, on March 22, 1939. Peggy spent her life taking care of her family, who she loved deeply. She loved to be with her grandbabies and helped raise them. Peggy enjoyed sewing and cooking delicious meals to share with everyone. Her family will forever cherish the memories they have of her. Peggy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Laney Cole; sons, Dennis Cole and Ansul Cole; and grandchildren, Brandy and JD.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca Ann Cole, Fred Cole, and Jonathan Cole; grandchildren, Lastie, Aaron, Chris, Telitta, George, Vanessa, Joshua Sr., Kacey, Rebecca, Bri’Anna, Richard “RT”, Randy, Robert, Willie, Gary, Wesley, Tessia, and Angel; great-grandchildren, Colby, Kaitlynn, Joseph, Leslie, John, Ella, Ainsley, Shae, Camillo, Shaelyn, Juanito, Alina, Lily, Adalynn, Joshua Jr., Delilah, Syenna, Tyenna, Darrius Jr., and Jaydon; great great-grandchild, Maliyah; and daughters-in-law, Tracey King and Tina Cole.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan, Joshua Sr., Chris, Colby, John Shaver, and Harold.
