The Troup High School class of 1954 remembers Patsy Evans. She was the last of our teachers. The good folks of Bridge City High School need to know, we had her first! She will be remembered as a great teacher. Mike Basquette - Troup HS Class of 1954

Mrs. Evans was my home economics teacher in the late 60's to 1970. She was a wonderful teacher and person. She and my Mom (Genoa Werth) were friends at the school until my Mom retired. I did not realize she was still teaching. My prayers are with Stephen and the family. Roberta (Werth) Green

Mrs.Evans was my Home Ec teacher in high school back in the 70s. She remained my friend all these years. One of the sweetest ladies I have ever met, always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by many. Praying for you Jessica and Jadon and your families. And we love you.

Patsy was my mentor and my friend. I tried to model my teaching career after her, but never quite reached that pinnacle. She was beautiful inside and out and always a lady. I think she passed on many of her wonderful attributes to Jessica as I see Jessica becoming very much like Patsy. I know you all have wonderful memories you will cherish. Sharon Woolley
