Obituary
Pat Smith, 74, of Orange, passed away on August 9, 2014, at M D Anderson in Houston.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in McKinney, Texas, on October 1, 1940, she was the daughter of James Walter Jenkins and Thelma Lou (Crowder) Jenkins. Pat was a Wal-Mart associate for 25 years and loved to garden. She loved her dogs but loved her family most of all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Walter Jenkins and Thelma Lou (Crowder) Jenkins; and her brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Aubrey Smith of Orange; her son James Aubrey Smith and his fiancé Kim of Vidor; her granddaughter Ariane Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
