Patricia N. Hall

Patricia N. Hall (affectionately known as Patsy) passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 86 in Orange, Texas. She was born on October 3, 1938, in Deweyville, Texas. Patsy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Hall; her son, Patrick Hall; her granddaughter, Erika Hall; and her great-grandson, Atlas Longenecker. She also leaves behind her adopted daughters, Jane Rawls and Cathy Rawls, as well as her adopted son-in-law, Paul Smith. Patsy will be dearly missed by her nieces Vickie, Jada, Pam, Cheryl, and Tracy, and her nephews Randy, Jeff, Gary, and David Kel.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, James C. Hall, her parents, Joseph A. Richard, Sr. and Ida Fitzgerald Richard, her brothers J.D. Richard and Joseph A. Richard, Jr., and her sister Barbara Wiggins.

Patsy found great joy in playing cards and dominoes with friends, filling her days with laughter and camaraderie. She cherished the moments spent with those she loved, and her warmth touched many lives.

A heartfelt thank you to her dear friends for the kindness, joy, and companionship they brought into her life. Your presence was a gift, creating cherished memories that will not be forgotten. A special thank you to her best friend, Jeanie, whose unwavering support, generosity, and love meant the world to Patsy. Your friendship was a true blessing.

The family would also like to express their deep gratitude to CHRISTUS Orange, St. Elizabeth Hospitals, and Gentiva Hospice for the compassionate care Patsy received over the past year.

A service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home (504 N Fifth St, Orange, TX 77630).
