Norma Lynn Stephenson, 56, of Mauriceville, passed away on September 4, 2020, in Beaumont.
A graveside service for Norma will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Stephenson Cemetery in Duncan Woods. Officiating will be Reverend Kevin Brown of First Baptist Church Mauriceville.
Born in Galveston, Texas, on March 9, 1964, she was the daughter of Robert Peveto and Gladys Humble. Norma was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Mauriceville where she sang in the choir and worked in the child care room and Nursery. Most recently, she was a member of First Baptist Church Buna. She was also a secretary for several different Doctors in Mauriceville and Bridge City. Norma enjoyed cooking, knitting, and traveling especially to Civil War battle sites. She adored her family most of all and her son, Robert was her pride and joy. Norma left an imprint on many hearts and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gladys Peveto; and brother, Doug Peveto.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Mark Stephenson; son, Robert Stephenson and partner Channing Zant of Michigan; and sister, Marilyn Mason and husband Joey of Mauriceville.

Mark and Robert,
I am sorry to learn of Norma's passing. It was a shock to see it on the obituary on KOGT. Prayers are being said for you all. Praying for peace and comfort for the family and praying God's will be done in the name of Jesus. Amen!
