Nicolas “Nick” Keith Lockwood, 19, of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away on June 19, 2019, in Port Neches, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow the service at Morse Cemetery in Buna, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on July 6, 1999, he was the son of Milton Manuel and Karla Lockwood Manuel. Nick attended Little Cypress- Mauriceville High School where he lived for Thursday and Friday nights playing football with his teammates. He was always a lover of football, especially if it was LSU. Nick enjoyed living life in the fast lane and loved all things cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He liked to spend his spare time fishing, sitting around a bonfire and listening to good music with good friends. He loved his family dearly, especially his cousins who he thought hung the moon. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bryan Lockwood.
Those left to cherish Nick's memory include his parents, Milton and Karla Manuel; aunts Kim "Bobo" Lockwood, Gina "Nana" Beard, Hunter Taylor, Teri Cooper, Camden Cooper, Krissy Peveto,Sara Peveto, Karlee Lucas, Macy Beard, Savanna Beard, Aniston Peveto, Kayden Brack, Bubba Morgan, Brylin Tauzin, and little Addi-Gayle Sharkey on the way; along with many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
R.I.P. my baby boy, Mawmaw loves you.

Karla and family, I have no words to express this tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I pray for peace and comfort to you and your family. Nick was such a good kid! Nick I will never forget what a silly kid you were and how much Karla and Milton was so proud of you. Your cousins and Aunt loved you so much they will miss you forever.
