I was saddened to hear of the passing of Neola Menard. I worked with her at Howards Big Star from 1964 to 1973, while I was a student at BCHS and then Lamar University. I will always remember how nice she was to work with. I never forgot the good times of working with her and all the others at Howards Big Star. It was a very instrumental and rewarding time of my life, I learned only good and positive things being around her. My condolences and prayers go out to the the family and friends of Mrs. Menard. May God bless all of you and bring you peace thru the love of Jesus Christ! Jerry Burd BCHS 1968.

Carolyn, I am so sorry for your loss. We did not know. She was closer to my Mom than her own sisters, including her twin. They had some good times together. She was a very special lady. I could always count on some laughs around her. Love, Drue Suire Breaux

There are a ton of memories with MawMaw. I remember one Christmas she was laughing so hard she was crying. She had given Rickie a present and he opened his present which was a 100 dollar bill and she opened hers and it was the same thing. She was so tickled.
