Nelson Bonneaux, Jr., 85, of Orange, passed away on April 3, 2021, at his home.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Deacon David Bonneaux.
Born in Crowley, Louisiana, on April 15, 1935, he was the son of Nelson Bonneaux, Sr. and Elta (Boudreaux) Bonneaux. Nelson married the love of his life Evelyn and together they had 3 children. He was retired from the Air Force and loved traveling with them. He was a family man who never missed a moment to spend time with his beloved children and grandchildren. He was very knowledgeable about old cars and enjoyed looking at them. Nelson could always be found telling old stories to someone and those memories will last a lifetime. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Evelyn Bonneaux; and parents, Nelson and Elta Bonneaux.
He is survived by his children, Paul Bonneaux and wife Suzanne of The Woodlands, David Bonneaux and wife Christine of Orange, and Gary Bonneaux and wife Allisha also of Orange; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
