Obituary
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Gary Wheeler. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on January 26, 1957, he was the son of Cecil and Mary Caswell. Nathan was incredibly ingenious often fixing anything. He was always fascinated watching roads and bridges being built and with hot rod cars. Nathan was outspoken and never afraid to say what was on his mind. He was an avid hunter, skillful fisherman, and absolutely loved some good cajun music and rock n roll. Nathan had a good heart and was partial to spoiling his grandkids. He was a good Christian man who loved the Lord and always put Him above all. Nathan was truly loved, and will forever be missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mary Caswell; brothers, Cecil Leon Caswell, Shirley Caswell; and sister, Ethel Hampton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gwen Caswell; children, Nathan “Bubba” Caswell, Jr and wife, Teresha, Shelby Suire, and Blake Suire; grandchildren, Sean Caswell, Luc Caswell; siblings, Bobby Caswell, Betty Bradshaw, Alex Caswell, Vernie Caswell, Amanda Berry, Linda Shipman, Jimmy Caswell, Sr, Johnny Caswell, Frankie Caswell, Tracy Caswell; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy E. Caswell, Sr, Jimmy E. Caswell, Jr, Blake Suire, Shelby Suire, Epi Munguia, Darrell Caswell, and Alex Caswell.
