Mildred Wade Potier, 83, of Orange, passed away on October 11, 2014, in Orange.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 13, 2014, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m., Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on December 27, 1930, she was the daughter of Albert Conway and Dora Ruff Conway. Mildred was a graduate from Stark High School. She worked for several years at the Orange County Court House and was a member of North Orange Baptist Church. One of her favorite past times was painting. She also loved being a grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Nat Wade, Jr. and second husband, Allen Potier.

She is survived by her son, Dale Wade and wife, Becky of New Braunfels; daughters, Sharon Landers of Nederland and Rhonda Isaacs of Groves; her brothers, Preston Conway, Virgil Conway and Tommy Conway; her grandchildren, Dana York, Will Gray, Christopher Henderson, Amanda Isaacs and Lindsey Isaacs and five great-grandchildren.

Aunt Mildred (Millie) will be missed greatly. She was a wonderful woman with a gentle heart. She helped me so many times and was the one who got me to get my drivers license, in spite of my Dad.
