Mike Moseley

1941 ∼ 2022

Mike Moseley, 80, of Bridge City, passed away on November 12, 2022, in Beaumont.

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Trevor Koonce of First Baptist Church of Orange.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on November 25,1941, he was the son of Thomas Griffin Moseley and Helen (Davis) Moseley. Mike proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He went on to work for DuPont in Orange as a welder for 37 years. The beach was one of his favorite places so much so he lived at Crystal Beach for 15 years. His family meant the world to him, and he never missed a moment to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Mike enjoyed watching boxing and football especially the Dallas Cowboys in his spare time. He left a lasting impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 30 years, Sandra Moseley; second wife of 23 years, Darlene Moseley; as well as his parents, Thomas and Helen Moseley.

He is survived by his children, Jerry Moseley and wife Brenda and Terry Moseley and wife Sunni; stepchildren, Carol Abbott, Jackie Glidden, and Micheal Glidden; grandchildren, Blake Moseley, Brooke Fuqua, Cory Moseley, and Cade Moseley; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.

The family would like to thank Mr. Moseley’s sister-in-law, Paula Stuckey for her love, care, and support for the last 15 months. As well as a special thank you to Harbor Hospice for the excellent care during his illness.
