Melvin Lee Duhon, Jr.

Melvin Lee Duhon Jr., 57, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026, at his residence in Orange, TX.

Melvin was born to Melvin “Beau” Lee Duhon, Sr. and Joyce Evelyn Bacon in Orange, December 8, 1968. Melvin is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin “Beau” Duhon Sr. and Joyce Evelyn Bacon; his brother Michael Shannon Duhon; and granddaughter Jaden Ruth Colley. Melvin is survived by his children Subrina Colley and husband Kasey Colley, Brenden Duhon, Harley Linscomb, Timber Linscomb and fiancé Alyssa Blasingime, Roman Duhon, and Scarlett Duhon. He is also survived by his sister, Kimberly Hammett, husband John, their son Rebel Hammett, and Micah Updike, grandchildren Brylee Colley, Rory Colley, Mallie Colley, River Linscomb and multiple nieces and nephews. Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held on November 7th at 10:30 at First Church of the Nazarene 3810 Martin Luther King Dr. Orange Tx 77632.
