Ms. Seale was one of my favorite teachers at LC-M. Math wasn't my strength in high school and she was always patient and kind and willing to take whatever time it took to become a better student. I remember her telling the story about growing up in Memphis and going on a date with Elvis Presley.

My sympathy to the family at the loss of Mavis. As schoolmates from the early 50's the memories I have of Bill, Mavis, and sister Mary Nell are all that you can be proud of. Years later, life & God's grace brought us together again at Little Cypress Baptist Church where we served, studied & searched the Scriptures together in Sunday School. Please accept my condolences as I share your loss also. Joe L. Hudson, Sr.

Mavis or as I call her Mawmaw Bill was always a delight to spend time with she could keep you laughing! When I was in high school she helped me do a ceramic project for a boy friend of mine. I remember a Christmas party at my house Mavis and Bill made something for everyone there and Bill was Santa, they brought joy to every kid that was there! Mawmaw Bill will be missed by all that knew her and loved her, Rest In Peace my sweet friend

What an absolutely talented and giving woman. Cheerful and witty and bright. I liked her very much. I have ceramics she created, and photos of my wonderful wedding cake she made for my and Tom's wedding. Godspeed, Mavis! Bill's waiting.
