I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Girlinghouse's passing. I only knew him for a short while. He was working part-time at K&S Outdoor Power in Mauriceville, I live next door. Several times during the summer I would hear a lawn mower outside and when I looked he was mowing my grass on one of their zero turn mowers. I mow my grass often but he would sometimes beat me to it. I offered to pay him but he wouldn't let me. We would talk a few times but I never knew he was previously Orange Fire Chief. I wish I would have gotten to know him better. He was such a nice man and I enjoyed talking to him. John Ware
