Aunt Jean was always there to greet you with a smile. She and Uncle Tommy had a love that was true and deep. He loved his wife dearly and she loved him the same. They were both so proud of their family and especially their grandchildren. Her death is the final chapter of the story of Clarence and Kitty Lou Dixon's five boys and their daughter, Allie Venita Dixon/Rush. They survived World Wars, the Depression and so much more. But in the end they each created, in their own worlds, incredible families that anyone would be proud to be a part of. Aunt Jean did not have her life handed to her on a silver platter but she and her husband, Tommy, created something far better than any money could ever create. They built a life to be proud of, a home and laid the ground work for a future for each of their children. Rest in peace Aunt Jean, you earned it. Sara and I love you and you will always have a special place in our hearts.

My Dear Cousins, I will always remember Aunt Jean as a kind, loving, precious person who loved her husband and their children so very much. Aunt Jean always welcomed me, my parents and siblings with opened arms. It was always such a delight visiting y’all in Texas when we were younger. I’m so grateful how our families were so connected even though the miles kept us apart for many months. Aunt Jean is now resting in her Heavenly Home with Jesus and all of our loved ones who have gone before us. Rest in Eternal Peace sweet Aunt Jean. You are so loved. Always. Carolyn
