Margaret Yvonne Wilburn, 80, of Mauriceville, passed away on October 6, 2017, at her home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 9, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Kevin Brown of First Baptist Church Mauriceville. A graveside service will follow, starting at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Shelby County, TX.

Visitation will precede the service starting 9:00 a.m.

Born in Kountze, Texas, on May 11, 1937, she was the daughter of Clayton Holmes and Inez (Walters) Holmes. Yvonne was an active member of First Baptist Church Mauriceville and an Easter Star. She enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, C.D. Holmes and Glen Holmes; son, Joseph Byron Wilburn; and granddaughter, Carmen Brumfield.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, J.B. Wilburn; children, Lajuan Anders and husband, Danny, of Vidor, TX, Mack Wilburn and wife, June, of Orangefield, TX, Steve Wilburn and wife, Glenda, of Orange, TX, and Keith Wilburn and wife, Sandra, of Vidor, TX; four grandchildren, Buck, Jamie, Keenon, and Leighann Wilburn; six great-grandchildren, Trevor, Peyton, Khloe, Logan, Gunner, and Emilee Wilburn.

Serving as pallbearers will be Blain Read, Randy Daigle, Jim Brackin, Kenneth Hamilton, Roy Boatman, and Keenon Wilburn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of choice.
