Mae McCarver Hendrix Hennigan, 83, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 11, 2019, in Beaumont, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 15, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with Ronnie Hennigan officiating. Burial will follow the service at The Cemetery in Mauriceville, Texas
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on March 8, 1936, she was the daughter of Nathan McCarver and Susie (Davis) McCarver. Mae was a strong Christian woman who put all of her faith into the Lord. She enjoyed collecting a variety of things. Mae loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Susie McCarver; husbands, Luther Hendrix and James Hennigan; sons, Eddie Hendrix and Jimmy “Scrap” Hendrix, grandson, Joel Hendrix; and her siblings, Nathan McCarver, Jr., Charles L. McCarver, Eddie Ray McCarver, Claudia McCarver Proctor, and Mary McCarver Guidry.
Mae is survived by her grandchildren, Lewis “Bubba” Hogan and wife Dominque, of Orange, Brendan Allinder, of Vidor, Jimmy Hendrix, of Orange, and Jared Hendrix, of Orange; great-grandchildren, Olivia Hogan and Dalton Hogan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

My sweet Sister Mae. I have never known someone who stole my heart as quick as you did. Your caring and Loving Heart was bigger than i have ever seen. I will never forget you called me a Blessing as your Angel in church the first few times we had started going. The kindness you gave to me the scarfs you made me you just being you made my Life better with you in it. I will miss you so. I pray you knew how Dearly I Loved you and will forever.
