I was very sorry to hear of Lowrey's passing. He and I were colleagues at the USDA ARS, Stoneville MS, and he set the stage for some of our best work. Lowrey would have been glad to know that he was co-author on at least three publications post retirement. These were collaborative projects, and he set the stage for continuance of the work. Everyone in the spray application field knows of his contributions, and Lowrey was one of the most creative engineers with strong in-depth knowledge that I have known. Once again. my sincere condolences.
