Growing up on Alamo Dr., then named Alamo Circle, & finally,Alamo St.,was as close to an idyllic childhood as I could imagine. Everybody looked out for everyone else. We were just 1 house north of the Powell's. Long after all the kids moved on, the empty nesters still looked out for one another. Lois, it's for sure Pete and Gail met you with open arms. May memories of happier times see the family through the days ahead.

My prayers are with you for the loss of your mama. She was a wonderful lady. I believe we were all blessed to have great parents, and Lois and Pete were among the finest in West Orange. As you continue on, remember not her leaving, but what she left in your hearts.
