LeRoy Welch

LeRoy Welch, 76, of Orange, passed away on May 17, 2014 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Chaplain Kevin Trinkle of Baptist Hospital in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Sabine Pass, TX, on July 14, 1937, he was the son of Robert Welch and Nola (Comeaux) Welch Boudreaux. LeRoy was a retired tug boat captain for Marine Fueling Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Welch of Orange; son, Greg Welch of Nederland; daughters, Denise Hackbarth and husband, Steve of Houston and Julie Cormier and husband, Gary of Bridge City; grandchildren, Joshua Hackbarth, Justin Hackbarth, and Jamie Hackbarth; step-children, Rodney Buxton and wife, Patty of Florida, Cliff Buxton of Florida, and Janet Freeman and husband, David of Orange.
