Leroy Granger, 92, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 4, 2018, at his home in Orange.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas. Burial will follow the service at Granger Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Orangefield, Texas, on August 2, 1925, he was the son of Kirby Granger and Leila Tarter Granger. Leroy proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He worked as a supervisor at DuPont Sabine River Works and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his yard. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kirby and Leila; his loving wife, Ruth Ann Granger; brother, Ray Granger; son, Donald Lee Granger; sister, Ida Lou Wilson; and his great-grandchild, Bentley Outlaw.
Leroy is survived by his children, Debrah Duhon and husband Darrell, of LaPorte and Roy Lee Granger, of Orangefield; grandchildren, Brandi Bishop and husband Jason, Lee Duhon, Candice Outlaw and husband Cody, Casey Granger, and Chad Granger and wife Jessie; great-grandchildren, Marisa Martin and husband Ryan, Marine LCpl. Cameron Duhon, Skyler Hadnot, Rhys Outlaw, Zoe Outlaw, Beckett Outlaw, Reed Granger, and Maddox Granger; great-great-grandchildren, Emma Martin and Mia Martin; his sister-in-law, Laverne Granger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cameron Duhon, Lee Duhon, Casey Granger, Chad Granger, Mike Granger, Daren Granger, Garett Granger, and Dylan Gray.

He was such a sweet man. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will miss all the stories of his weekly antics when we were out to eat with you Darrell and Debbie and he will be truly missed. Love you guys:heart:
