Who can think of Larry and not smile? He was our "Malboro Man" who looked like some handsome cowboy that just stepped out of a movie. Randy and I enjoyed running with Larry and "Flash" up and down the interstates hauling freight and talking away the miles. We cherished our infrequent phone calls and still talk about your visit to Kansas. We will miss Larry forever and consider ourselves blessed to have met such a great person. Our deepest sympathy to sweet Dorothy and the rest of the family. Randy, Dana & Ben McKinney

Miss you more than ever papaw, I will definitely miss us picking on each other, and you pointing that finger at me and saying "girl, imma get you". Or you always trying to scare me when I'm not expecting it. You truly were one of my heros. Thank you for all the life lessons. I love you

Papaw, I love you and miss you so much! We all do. I will miss all of your witty comebacks and watching you beat everyone at washers. Most of all I'll miss your hugs and your voice. Fly high sweet man.

I want to share one of my most precious memories of Larry with you all. I think of it and smile. The day Kris was born, the first of the many grandchildren, Larry was sitting in the rocker, holding him, smiling. I said to him, "Dad, he is the spitting image of you...your soul grandchild, I think that everyone has one, and this one is yours." I still see the smile on his face as he looked at him, staring down at Kris with such pride. Larry was a kind man. He loved and took pride his family. It is said that the measure of a man's life is not in years, but in love...it is in that which life continues. Larry continues to be well-loved. Our family lifts yours up in prayer today and always. The Ellers: Dani (Neen), Mark, Troy-Anne and Kameron.
