Obituary
Larry Keith Lesher, 70, of Orange, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2014, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Reverend Mark Bunch of St. Paul United Methodist Church and Reverend Jerry Smith of Serenity Oaks Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Born in Orange, Texas, on March 21, 1943, Larry was the son of William Harry and Inez Junita (Carr) Lesher. He worked as an electrician with Gerdau Steel, formerly known as North Star.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Denise Lesher; and his brother, Carlton William Lesher.
Larry is survived by his wife, Sandra Lesher of McLewis; daughter, Jeanette Cook and husband Aaron of Vidor; son, Todd Head and wife Sonja of Vidor; and grandchildren, Byron Stansbury and wife Maegan, Austin Cook, Cody Cook, Devin Cook, Jeffery Jones, Alana Jones, Skyler Head, and Seth Head. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Stansbury, Gracie Stansbury, and one more on the way; and sister-in-law, Jean Lesher of Mauriceville.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Jeffery Jones, Ronnie Dixon, Chris Shearer, and Trevor Lingenfelter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to River City Hospice, 256 Strickland Dr., Orange, TX 77630.
