Kent Wayne Stockton, 61, of West Orange, passed away on October 17, 2018, in Orange, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service, beginning at 12:30 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Pasadena, Texas, on December 4, 1956, he was the son of Herbert Raymond Stockton and Olivet (Smith) Stockton. Kent was a pipefitter and enjoyed his time working. He also loved to spend time fishing, camping, barbequing, being with his family, and rough housing with the kids. Kent loved animals, especially horses, and worked as a horse farrier for many years. He was a very loving husband and son, and was the best dad in the world. Kent will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Stockton; and his brother, Rodney Stockton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gladies (Getuya) Stockton; his mother, Olivet Stockton; his children, Amanda Neff and husband Chris, Merissa Kelley and husband Logan, Ezekiel Stockton, Danielle Stockton, and Raymond Stockton; his grandchild, Mason Neff; and many other loving family and friends.

I helped Kent for a year shoeing horse's he taught me everything a now about the trade I know have my own farrier business he was a kind and gentle man with a great outlook on life he will always be in my thoughts God bless the Stockton family
