Windee, Lance and Clint, I’m so sorry you lost your Mom. Hard to believe. Really wanted to go to the service but I’m a bit tied down. We had some fun times together at church and on trips. I’ve seen her up and I’ve seen her down but always held fast to her faith in her Lord. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all during this sad time for you. Alma Nelson

First met Karen when Windee rode the bus to our house with Lauren on the first day of kindergarten because she forgot to get off at her mom’s campus. Later, Lance was mine at Apple Tree. Karen would come to Apple Tree and do science experiments with the kids. Great lady, lots of fun. My heart is with all of you.

Mrs. Mendoza was my favorite teacher of all time. Her teaching sparked my love of science in 9th grade, and I went on to get an undergrad and graduate degree in Science. Lovely lady!!
