Joyce Ann Coratti

Joyce Ann Coratti, 65, of Orange, passed away on August 26, 2021, in Beaumont.

A memorial service for Joyce will be held at a later date.

Born in Warren, Ohio, on March 17, 1956, she was the daughter of Robert Mann and Annabelle Lee Mann. From a very young age, education remained a precedent in her life. Obtaining a Masters in Criminology, Joyce went on to teach Criminal Justice at Lamar State College Orange and Silsbee Independent School District. In addition to teaching criminal justice, she substitute taught at several local schools and taught free GED classes at the Orange Public Library. Joyce had a servants heart and took great joy in being of service to those around her. She was very involved with several local ministries and could often be found volunteering at different local churches or feeding crowds with her exquisite home cooked meals. Joyce lived an extraordinary life and will be missed by each and every person she left an impact on.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Annabelle Mann; loving husband, John Coratti and nephew, Cullen Mann.

She is survived by her children, Chasity Burris and husband Darren of Forney and Michael Dixon and wife Sarah of Bridge City; grandchildren, Tyler Burris, Annika Dixon and Keegan Dixon; siblings, Robert Mann and wife Lynn, Louis Mann, and Cyndi Broussard and husband Troy; nephew, Clint Mann; and niece, Ella Broussard.
