Joe was a great friend, always lots of fun to be around with that great laugh of his.. He and my husband worked together in the early 70s. Back then we went fishing, camping and a lot of hanging out in general. The last thing we did together other than just visiting was Joe went to an NRA banquet. Austin and I buy a table for 8 every year and invite friends. As usual we had a nice time. Joe you will be so missed, so I say to you one last time Tally-Ho, RIP my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Wow! So very many wild & crazy times, we had together. Joe worked with me in 74' at Levingston. We spent a lot of time off work fishing & playing pool. One particular time comes to mind that I'll always remember. We put in at Bailey's on HWY 87 by the bridge. Off we went to the lake. But it was so foggy you couldn't see 10' in front of his boat. We got to the end of the Bayou & turned right towards the lake. "Tally-Ho & wide open we headed out. I kept trying to see where we were going, but it was No use. My glasses were dripping wet in seconds. About ten minutes, we came back to the mouth of the Bayou. Damn it, I missed the turn to the lake & away we went again full speed ahead. After repeating this three times, we finally made it to the lake. After a few minutes we ran aground. The mud was eating the prop & we couldn't even see which way to go. We ended up sitting there for over an hour till we could see enough to get out. What a day. I am so glad I got to speak with Joe last week. It was a great talk, but about a Bad subject. Joe's infectious laugh will be sorely missed. Loved him like a Brother. My condolences to all his family, I know Joe is having a Ball, he always was.

After marrying Rocky many years ago I got to know Joey, cousin and long time BFF. He was always quite a character. The last few years after settling down with sweet Lori, we became closer than ever. We loved visiting, laughing and staying nights with them when we visited “Bayou Country”! Joe often went fishing with us ... and what fun times. So much laughing and teasing each other !! Joey & Rocky played guitars many nights and loved it. Lori & I would usually leave them up jamming. We visited as often as we could and me, being a nurse, often discussed his problems and meds. Etc. with him. He trusted me & I loved him dearly. He’s always been a kind, loving gentleman, and friend to me. We will miss him terribly and you’ll always be in our hearts Joe.... until we meet again. :broken_heart:

We are so sorry we could not be there with you. Although we did not know Joe well, from what we did know...he was a standup guy! We came across this great picture that we wanted to share from a couple years back...when our whole family was together in Lincoln, Nebraska. We send you all of our love from Montana!
