Joe Gaudet, 68, of Buna, passed away on January 17, 2017, in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2017, held at First United Pentecostal Church in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Gary P. Wheeler.

Visitation will precede the service Friday starting at 12:00 p.m.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on July 16, 1948, he was the son of Norman Gaudet and Delores (Dominique) Gaudet. Joe was a skilled craftsman and he loved to shop for a bargain.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Joseph Paul Gaudet, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Reba Gaudet; children, Dana Jones, Bradley Gaudet, Leslee Rhodes, and Adam Cross; grandchildren, Samantha, Nicholas, and Alicia Jones, Skylar Bobo, Savannah Thompson, Derrick Bobo, Brandon and Sara Gaudet, Brook Diggs, and Ryan Gaudet; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Cheryl Zeringue, Wayne, Rene, Keith, Paul, and Teddy Gaudet.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lesley Jones, Nick Jones, Bradley Gaudet, Adam Cross, Derrick Bobo, and Hershel Rhodes.
