One of my most unique, happy memories was when John took Lori and me to the Robert Frost celebration. There was much bagpipe music, much Scottish singing, much laughing and poetry and best of all the opportunity to try Haggis. (If you've never tried Haggis, you should. It's extremely unique, but not exactly a Thanksgiving dish.) We had a grand old time that night and I have treasured it over the years. My aunt's middle name is Knight because back in the 1940s, when families were too poor to go to the hospital and doctors made house calls to deliver babies, Dr. Knight came to my grandma's bedside to deliver her babies. When she had no money to pay him, she named my Aunt after him as a way of appreciation. Dr. Knight was John's father, if memory serves me correctly. John came from a fine, generous family line and he will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace, John. We will always remember and love you and your jokes.

So many good memories from our childhood visiting him & Tommy along with Aunt Doris & Uncle John. I wish we could have visited one more time before he passed away. He will always be "Little Johnny" to me and his other cousins. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven someday. Donnella Looger
