Jewell Dean Phillips, 83, of Lumberton, passed away on January 18, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

A graveside service will be 10:00am, Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Alans Chapel Cemetery in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm-4:00pm, Tuesday, January 20, 2014 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Selina, Tennessee, on July 30, 1931, she was daughter of Robert Daniels and Bessie Daniels.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Haskell Phillips.

She is survived by her children, Frances Grasty of Lumberton, Lloyd “Buddy” Phillips and wife, Leigh of Bridge City, Brenda Britnell of Orange, Susie Lindsey and husband, Gerald of Orange, and Danny Phillips and wife, Cara of Eau Clar, Wisconsin; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Sis Sherfield and Dean Odele.
