Jerry Allen Ihle, 75, of Orange, passed away on October 1, 2022, at the Medical Center in Port Arthur.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on December 29, 1946, he was the son of George Donald Ihle and Vera Francis Ihle. Jerry worked as an Ironworker for the Local Union #135. He was huge animal lover and outdoorsman. He also enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Jerry was also a bareback bull rider well into his fifties.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Ihle; parents, George and Francis Ihle; and brother, Fred Ihle.

He is survived by his children, Troy Ihle, Erice Ihle, and Season Ihle; grandchildren, Ciara Will, Emily Shelton, Andrew Sayer, Raylee Ihle, Jahlyn Hunsley; great grandchildren, Emma, Caroline, Graham; brother, Danny Ihle, Sr.; nieces and nephews, Allen Ihle and wife, Kevin Ihle, Tyler Granger, Gavin Ihle, Jadyn Ihle, Nicholas Granger, and Isabella Ihle.

A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 7, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
