Jim and I flew to VIETNAM together, served on the USS SANCTUARY (HOSPITAL SHIP), and flew back together to the US. He came to Florida to visit a couple of years ago. We had a great time. In the Navy we say Fair Winds and Following Seas. His Shipmates will miss him. Condolences to family and friends.

My father, John McCullough, worked at Texaco at the same time James did. They spent a lot of time together during those days. Both enjoyed CB radios and the friendships developed through their use. James visited our home often; he was more like family. I was in high school during those days and will never forget the good nature and teasing that was a trademark of James's! He took me on my first motorcycle ride and even let me drive his corvette! What a thrill for a teenager! Give a big hug to my dad, James - you two together will have heaven in stitches!
