Jack was one of my closest friends at "The Plant", and certainly one of the most memorable characters I have known in my lifetime. God will welcome Jack for his wonderful sense of humor. I will miss him for the same reason, but I will not forget what Jack left me, memories filled with anecdotes of local lore and technical know-how!t

I remember visiting Mr. Etheridge with my son Mark at their place near Sam Rayburn some years ago. He took us around the place on his 4 wheeler-I remember it was a very thrilling ride! He was very welcoming and comfortable to be around. We will miss him. Larry Hairgrove
